Those “single mothers” the reverend speaks of don’t include many widows or divorcees, do they? The honest description is “unwed mothers.”
Actually the foundation does have and has always opened its doors to the widowed and divorced. We are here to serve and help the most needy regardless of their marital status before coming to us for a safehaven of hope. Our gaol is to complete the “wrap around concept” that is to give a place of hope and love to any woman that makes the decision to keep their child. We work with crisis pregnacy centers and shelters all over VA and many other states to provide all women a place to come and have their precious little baby.
